- Bumrungrad:
located in the Nana area (between Asoke and Ploenchit), this is the largest hospital in Bangkok for the number of foreign
patients (both tourists and expats). It was the first Asian hospital to receive the coveted JCI accreditation (in 2012) and hasn’t stopped developing since then. It received specific certifications for several of its areas of expertise, including treatment of strokes, kidney

- Bangkok International Hospital:

founded in 1972, and was the first of a large group that now totals over 40 hospitals in Thailand. JCI (Joint Commission International)

- Samitivej (Sukhumvit 49):
One of the favorite international hospitals for Sukhumvit residents and expats, notably for routine check-ups,
childbirth and post-natal deliveries. Over 70 nationalities are represented among its patients. Another Samitivej hospital is located in
Srinagarin (east Bangkok) and specialized in maternity. In 2017 Samitivej received the Medical Travel Quality Alliance (MTQUA)
certificate, entering the top 10 of hospitals worldwide for treatments and care of medical tourists.
- BNH:
One of the first private hospitals founded in Thailand, in 1886, under the patronage of King Rama V, it was formerly known as
“Bangkok Nursing Home”. BNH is the largest hospital in the Sathorn-Silom area and is highly reputed for its comfort and the quality of

- Siriraj Hospital:
Located on the west bank of the Chaoprayah river, this is the oldest and largest hospital in Thailand. It was founded in
