This area between Asoke and Ploenchit has seen a lot of changes over the last 20 years, with hotels and condos progressively replacing entertainment venues and street vendors, even though there is still a pleasant hustle and bustle in this area, especially at night along Sukhumvit road. The installation of NIST school – one of Bangkok’s most exclusive and reputed international schools – at the north end of soi 15 has also helped attract an upper-class population.
