Bangkok's little "Central Park" stretches on 50 hectares right in the middle of town between Sukhumvit, Central Lumpini and Sathorn-Silom. Very popular among
joggers and cylists, Bangkok's largest public park is also host to many recreational activities such as group aerobics, taichi, yoga, dance lessions, basketball,
badminton, tennis, swimming, etc.
A bicyle and pedestrian path connects Lumpini Park to Benjakitti Park (Asoke).
The park is surrounded by 4 urban-rail stations: Lumpini MRT, Silom MRT and Sala Daeng BTS to its south, Ratchadamri BTS to its west.

Just 100 meters from Asoke intersection, Bangkok's second biggest park in Bangkok is iconic for its gigantic lake in the midle and has become very
popular among joggers and cyclers. It is even possible to rent bicycles and small boats for romantic days or evenings. There is an ongoing
extension plan of the park to the east on the land of the Thailand tobacco monopoly, that is expected to almost double its size.
The Park is very well connected to the public transportation with direct access from Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT to the north and Queen Sirikit
MRT to the south. An elevated bicycle and pedestrian path connects Benjakitti to Lumpini Park, running over and under various elements of the
neighborhood in between

Much smaller than Lumpini and Benjakitti, Benjasiri Park is also the busiest green lung in Central Bangkok, thanks to its central location just by
Phrom Phong BTS station, surrounded by EMporium and Emquartier shopping malls.
The park features multiple playgrounds, nightly aerobics, basketball, badminton, and occasional weekend concerts.
Your kids can also take swimming classes at the alrge pool located near the east concerts.
A must for all expat families living in Phrom Phong, Thonglor and South Sukhumvit.

FIND YOUR HOME AROUND BENJASIRI PARK
For those live outside the center or want to discovers side of Bangkok, there are plenty of other public parks.
The most noticeabl are:
- Rot Fai (Chatuchak): superb park just by the famous weekend market of Chatuchak (or "Jatujak").
- Bang Krachao("The green lung"): this juge park (more of a forest to be fair) located just across the river, to the south west of the
center, belongs to the royal family and is a paradise for cyclists.
- Rama IX Park: farther out but one of the biggest and most pleasant park to hang out over the weekend.
