Sports and fitness

The year-round summer conditions in Bangkok are ideal to jog, swim, play tennis or golf.
Fitness activities are very popular, with numerous high-end gyms in the main business and residential areas of Central Bangkok.
The city also offers several golf driving ranges in the center, and is surrounded by top-notch golf courses (contact us for more information).

  • Racquet Club: Nestled in Sukhumvit 49 in the heart of Thonglor, the Racquet Club is a rare multi-sport club, very popular among expat families of all origins. Its wide range of sports includes tennis (7 covered courts), squash, badminton, climbing, 2 swimming pools, gym, boxing, muay thai, numerous fitness classes, scuba diving classes… Membership is open to everyone but a family subscription plan is the best deal on offer.
  • British Club: on Silom road is one of the oldest clubs in town, very popular with the English-speaking community and offering multiple activities and events outside sports. The British Club has over a thousand expat members.
